Specialty Dinning Question

My wife and I are sailing on Dawn this summer and my Son and wife will be joining us in a separate cabin. We each received 3 specialty dining restaurants as part of our Free and Sea offer.

My wife and I are Platinum members so we will also receive a free Cagney's or Le Bristo certificate (for 2) and a free La Cucina or Moderno certificate (for 2)

If we book 3 specialties for all 4 of us, and we used our Platinum Cagney's and Le Bristo certificates at 2 of the 3, My wife and I would still have 2 (each) Free at Sea Meals left on our account. Is it possible we could use the 4 remaining free at sea meals (2 from my wife's account  and 2 form mine) and book a 4th night in a specialty for all 4 of us.

Sorry it's so confusing. I guess basically I'm asking if I can I use the Free at Sea meals for other people?

From the FAQ:

CAN I BUY DINNER FOR SOMEONE ELSE WITH MY SPECIALTY DINING PACKAGE?

Specialty Dining Packages are sold individually and cannot be transferred. If you wish to pay for someone else’s dinner, you will have to pay regular prices.

Thanks for the information. Now I remember reading the Dining Packages were not transferable. Any idea if I can gift one of the Platinum Dinning Certificates to my son and his wife?

Each Plat cert is good for the plat member plus one oterh person.  One fo the two using the cert HAS TO BE the plat member.

Sorry but you can not do that either.

Thanks. That will accomplish what I wanted. One night I'll treat my son to Cagney's with the Cert and one night My wife will treat my son's wife. Then we will all have 1 free at sea extra available.
