lindalu62 Posted January 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2006 What does RCI offer as incentives to book onboard?? thanks!
flagger Posted January 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2006 Shipboard credit on the cruise booked depending on the length of the cruise. You can book both RCI and Celebrity cruises. There are certain specials on cruises offering larger than standard shipboard credit. The Loyalty Ambassador also has access to all available staterooms that most online sites and travel agents do not.
superjerryw Posted January 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2006 $100 per cabin for 7 days cruises. $200 per cabin for cruises 10 days or longer. Your new booking will revert back to the travel agent that booked you on your current cruise unless you specify otherwise. You can book anything and then change it later and maintain the credit as long as the original booking number is used. The dollar amount of the credit will also be adjusted up or down if you book a longer or shorter cruise.
ORANGEinINDY Posted January 26, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2006 I am assuming that "Shipboard Credit" would be a 'deduction' from your seapass account, and not able to be used on cruise price, custom airfare or other things... correct? And.. it is $XX per cabin, not $XX per pax, correct?
lindalu62 Posted January 26, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted January 26, 2006 thanks! So, no discount on the cruise booked, just shipboard credit?? Does this apply strictly to purchases made on board, or can you pay off your balance (tips, etc) with it also?? Does being a c&a member give any addtionaly discounts/privledges?? springtxbill Posted January 26, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2006 You can use it to pay anything that goes onto your Seapass even cash received from the casino. C&A member gets same discounts etc that they would receive outside.
lindalu62 Posted January 26, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted January 26, 2006 Great! Now, another question! Will they have access to future cruise reservations that are not yet showing up on their website?? Were looking at booking a cruise about 2 years from now, so no quotes, etc on the website, but will they book it anyway onboard or not???
springtxbill Posted January 26, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 26, 2006 I the cruises have not been released they will not have them, but you can book a cruise to get the credit and transfer it when the new bookings come out and keep the credit.:)
