Explorer of the Seas - Karaoke Frequency

I'm going to be on the Explorer of the Seas - 3/12. This will be our 21 cruise...but, only our 2nd with RCI. I enjoy singing karaoke while I'm cruising...but have noticed that over the past couple of years various cruise lines have been cutting back or eliminating karaoke all together. For example Holland America no longer offers it - and they don't have a talent show...but have a lip sync show instead (yuck).

 

All you repeat RCI cruisers out there should know - how much is karaoke offered...and do they tend to be filled with a bunch of 14-16 year old kids goofing off?

I was on the Explorer in December and they had Karaoke in The Chamber. It wasn't filled with kids because The Chamber is more of a Knightclub. :D

Not too sure about the Explorer, but I was on the Mariner last Oct. and they had karakoe several nights. In fact they had a karakoe idol contest that went several nights. I would say that they probably had it maybe 4 or 5 nights on the 7 night cruise we were on. Was fun to watch, but you'll never catch me up there.
