How does NCL group the ages for their Youth Program?

For example:

2 - 4

5 - 9

10-13

14-17

Does it vary ship to ship or cruises to cruise depending on the number of kids onboard?

That is the same on every ship in the line. Sometimes groups might be combined for various activities, but otherwise, it does not change.

Are they very strict in adhering to the age groups?

I have a granddaughter who will be 3 in May and our cruise is in March.

My grandsons are 8 and 12.  They would probably like to be together.

 

Are babysitters available at night?

They are very strict with age groups, sometimes they will combine if there aren’t many kids. They might move down, but I don’t know if they will move down a tween with 8 year olds. No babysitting.

They will absolutely not move age groups. They are extremely strict.
