hannahsnana Posted June 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2019 We usually don’t take advantage of the photographers on the ships except for an occasional one at a port. However, this year our family beach vacation will be on the Mariner in July! We usually do white shirts, khaki shorts ( a S.C. thing) and wanted to get us all together. Are the photographers set up every night for group shots? I know formal night is but never really noticed other nights. Thanks for any ideas! WisconsinFan Posted June 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2019 You can ask them to set up a special shoot just for your family. No sitting fee. We have done this on HAL for a 50th wedding anniversary with 10 people and on Royal. They are more than happy to help and as there isn't a line of people you get individual attention. With all the color you might want to do the shoot with one of their white drapes, barefoot. We have done that and the pictures were awesome. Just ask about it at the photo shop area once you are on the ship

BlueSkySailing Posted June 29, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2019 FYI- We also do Family Cruises and we had 12 in a group one year. I went up and speak to the manager and asked then when and how a large would work. They are limited on how many can fit in one photo. So not all 12 were able to fit in the photo. We had to have the by marriage people step out. We got 8 people but we did a big group hug around our mom. That was on the 3rd night on a 4 night cruise. Happy Sailing!!!
