One last ? I hope someone can answer before we head out for our Conquest trip- has anyone ever booked/slept in a cabin that has 2 uppers that pull from the ceiling?

Can the lower beds be configured together or do they need to stay as twins? Also, can they both be pushed together/joined to one side against a wall?

I think the single beds in most cabins can be pused around but not sure about the cabins with 2 uppers-if the lower beds are pushed together in the middle of the cabin, where on the floor would you place the ladders needed to get to the top bunks?

THX for any quick help you can share.

We had a quad room on the Conquest. The steward said he could put the two twins on the bottom together, but it would make for poor floor space if we did. We chose to just keep it like it was. He didn't offer to move the beds up against the wall, but I would think they COULD do that??? I didn't think of it at the time. I just knew I didn't want the twin beds making the king bed to be taking up the small floor space that was available.

Travelling with my toddler- floor/toy space will be at at premium.

Luckily- I packed a collapsable toy cube for him so that we can practice "picking up" even at sea. I can invision getting up in the middle of the nite for a bathroom visit and falling over a toy in the few inches of floor room we will have!

THX for the info.

One thing...on the Conquest, Quad cabins have 2 twin beds, a couch that gets made into a bed and one pulldown bed. There aren't any with 2 pulldowns.

Kristi-
We most definitely had 2 pull downs in our cabin on the Conquest. On the LEGEND we had a couch and 1 pulldown, but on the conqust there were 2 lowers and 2 uppers that pulled down...

Hmmm...I guess the room configuration is different on the balcony cabins. I should have clarified that I hadn't been in a quad that was an inside or an oceanview.

Yep- I think thats the difference,Kristi. We had a balocony on the Legend and it had the couch and 1 pull down...MUCH better use of space,I thought.

We had an oceanview on our last Conquest Cruise and we only had one upper and the couch and two twin beds pushed together for our quad...which rooms have two uppers? Interior only?
