Island of Krk

Has anyone been on this Marella excursion from Rijeka, We would like to do a trip from this port but unsure which.The other choice would be Opatija.any advise.

We've done both on a land-based holiday and my husband regularly drove a coach to that area.  We're both agreed there is more to see and do in Opatija.  Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply.We are unsure which trip to take as we would rather avoid spending too much time on a coach especially as l have read that traffic can often be bad. The details of the Krk day suggest you’ll use a boat although the island is attached to the mainland. I believe there is a esplanade in Opatija which might be nice for a walk. We will be in the second week of the cruise and will be wearing out! My husband is blind so although site-seeing trips are fine for me he can get a bit bored. We always try to go ashore each at each port but feel that there would be much to see in Rekeja. Thanks

We will be in Rijeka September 10th.l have booked an excursion to Opatija but l can change it if l feel Krk would offer us more.
