Where to dine with a short time in Puerto Rico

Now that Royal Caribbean has decided to extend our time in St. Maarten and severely reduce our time in Puerto Rico (where I'd probably want longer time compared to St. Maarten) where are some places that are good to grab a traditional bite without killing too much time off the clock.  Plan to stay in the Old San Juan area and utilize their trolley system as needed.  It will be two adults and somewhat picky 6 year old.

at port go to your left and find wall greens turn right cross the next street you will be in a triangle (between two streets)

there iS A SMALL café in front of you that has really good food don't remember the name but we ate there 3 times in 2 days
