Pduaime Posted July 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2019 My husband and I quite often split an entree when eating out. Is that allowed in the specialty restaurants, say like Cagney's. With the increased prices, this seems even more feasible since neither of us would eat a 16 oz steak and obviously we won't be taking a doggy bag home. Rare KeithJenner Posted July 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2019 I assume you are talking about paying a la carte, rather than using the dining package, in which case you can do what you want. You pay for what you order so there is no harm to anyone in sharing. if you are using the SDP (ie trying to share one SDP credit between two) then it may be more complicated. As long as you just order one meal then they will likely allow it (even though it is probably against the terms of the package).
Nola26 Posted July 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2019 We shared in Los Lobos on the Bliss, paid a la carte, not SDP. A very filling and budget friendly option.
casofilia Posted July 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2019 What is the problem; in an a la carte restaurant you pay for what you order. In Cagney's both order sides and one of you order the meat then you both get a plate and a knife and fork. What you do after that is up to you!!
MNcruisingcouple Posted July 8, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2019 My husband and I have done this at Cagney's when paying "a la carte". It's great for not wasting food and extending your budget. We've never had any issues when requesting to split or share an entrée.
