jdunn1211 Posted July 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2019 I will be sailing with my kids in October on the Seaside. One of my children will be 1.5 months from being 3. He is fully potty trained and attends full time preschool. Do you think they will make an exception for him to be in the mini club? What do I have to do to see if they will exception? floridian1 Posted July 8, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2019 (edited) Possibly..they let our friends child move down to the mini club and the child was a year over the age limit. The staff just said sure, no hesitations. Your looking to have your child move up, so different from our scenario however our experience shows Msc is clearly not as strict as other cruiselines regarding the kids club ages. gimletgal Posted July 8, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2019 I would suggest contacting MSC directly. Whatever answers you get here on CC are basically opinions. And, I may add, you're probably better off waiting to inquire once you are on board as the land based agents are not all that knowledgeable or easily give out bad information. Good luck and I hope it works out for you!
kodesthemoose Posted July 8, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2019 My guess is no, because on the Seaview they would not let my 6.5yo age up to Juniors club (age 7-11) - I asked because he has two brothers in that 7-11 age group and they wanted to be together. Robinsoncruiseso Posted July 17, 2019 #6 Share Posted July 17, 2019 The number of children in their appropriate age group may have some influence in their decision. On most mainstream lines, no exceptions are made.
