Sheraton Walle Princess Package - transfers

Hi 

 

Has anyone stayed at the Sheraton Wall before a princess cruise ? How did it work ? I was talking to a woman at the gym ( she was just on Royal Princess to Alaska ) and she said she had to transfer back to the airport  and then to the cruise terminal.  

it looks like it is less than a mile, so I would walk it with the carry-ons or take a cab as opposed to go all the back to the airport.  

Have you stayed here and how did you get to the terminal ?

You don't mention a city but since this is posted on the West Coast boards I assume you are referring to the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver.

Yes it is about a mile walk to the cruise terminal at Canada Place and it is a slightly downhill walk.

There is no Uber or Lyft in Vancouver yet so a taxi is your best way to get there if you don't walk. It shouldn't be much more than $10 taxi fare to the port - just a tip on the taxi - there can often be a long line of taxis waiting to get down the ramp to the taxi area of the port and this can added considerably to you fare. If this is the case have your driver drop you off outside the Pan Pacific which is a few feet from the ramp and then walk down the ramp to the porters and leave your luggage,
