San Diego- Super 8 Bayside-Anyone ?

Just reserved 1 night stay for 6 of us in Feb. Wondering if anyone has comments? Looks good on Trip Advisor.i

We stayed there in January of 2005. I have written a review on Trip Advisor.

Remember this is a motel - doesn't have the amenities of a hotel, but our room was clean and the front desk staff were great and helpful. They were remodeling so there was some construction on one side - I would think they would be done with it by now.

I think for the rate it can't be beat - plus it is in Little Italy with some nice Italian restaurants - I would recommend Fillipi's!

I would not hesitate to stay there again. They do have a shuttle to and from the airport and cruise terminal. Just be sure to tell them you have 6 people as they have a car and a van they use - they sent the car for the 2 of us but we had so much luggage we had to put some in the back seat. They took us to the cruise terminal in the van.

I kind of doubt it because their parking lot is small - at least it was before the remodeled - not sure about now.
