To respond to OP's original question, what ARE we getting for booking Concierge and Aqua??  Most recently, we had to move a sailing and wound up on Deck 3.  It was half the cost of the above mentioned cabins which we've booked over a dozen times.  The end result?  We had a great cruise, we ate where we wanted, when we wanted, and we did not miss our Concierge or Aqua perks at all.  We loved the vibe on deck 3, and how easy it was to get on and off the ship in Port.

By the way, we've always brought our own personal toiletries....

We NO longer book Aqua because, in our opinion, it is no longer special.  The food at dinner has taken a downward spiral and definitely not worth the additional cost. For us the "straw that broke the camel's back" was our annual January 2018 cruise (Silhouette)  when I sent my entrée back 3 of the 7 nights. We sometimes book Concierge if the cost is not that much higher than a balcony.  After 37 Celebrity cruises that began in 1993 in an outside room on the Horizon with pheonominal food that started to deteriorate when the line was purchased by RCI, we now mostly book a regular balcony and use the savings for the Specialty restaurants whose food can also be hit or miss on some evenings. P.S. Stopped using their toiletries about 15 cruises ago.
