Moomduck1 Posted July 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2019 We will be in port 4pm to 10pm. Will have 2 toddlers. Can we walk anywhere? Anything to do or see near the port?
alfaeric Posted July 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2019 Old San Juan is pretty small- we can walk to El Morrow reasonably quickly. Your mobility really depends on how you move your toddlers- carry, push, or walk on their own? Old San Juan is a UNESCO World Heritage area, so, yes, see it. The old city walls, the old gate, the old forts, old buildings, etc.
Moomduck1 Posted July 16, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted July 16, 2019 Definite push! 🙂 Thanks!
alfaeric Posted July 16, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2019 Be ready for some narrow sidewalks- being many hundreds of years old, the roads were laid out way before cars.... There are a few streets where there's a lot of space, and the Paseo de la Princesa is also wide all the way to the San Juan gate. Good area to walk.
