bjg86 Posted July 17, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2019 Hi all, I plan on taking a tour that hits the animal sanctuary and West Bay for snorkeling. I am trying to decide between Cleve's, Real Deal Tours, and 2KS Adventure tours. Their prices range from $240, $200, and $160. While price is important, it's not the sole deciding factor. They all get really good reviews on TA and have been responsive via email. Any strong reasons to choose one over the others? I know I'm asking a lot in this forum in prep for my trip, but I promise to give back to the forum based on my first hand experience after the trip. Thanks! Guest 2000 Posted July 17, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2019 I would choose booking direct with a local owned and operated company. Would that be Cleve?
Rare crewsweeper Posted July 17, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2019 From reviews I've seen. Cleve is the way to go amongst these 3 operators. There's a thread here, I think on sloths and monkey's that has pictures of their tour with Cleve.
#1TravelMom Posted July 18, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Sorry, never heard of any of these. We have been to Roatan 12 times. We met Rony of Ronystours on our first visit. He's awesome. We have him booked again for October. We've been on 60+ cruises. We've done MANY independent tours on many islands. We have traveled with our family of 4 and we have traveled with large groups. I'm super picky about my excursions. There are probably only 5 tours/guides that I recommend to others. Rony is one of them!
