ilovethesun Posted January 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2006 What area should I bid for in FLL on priceline? I would like to be able to see a view of the port (got to do that in Miami... so fun!) if at all possible. What area is the Marriot Marina in and what star level is it? I've never sailed out of Port Everglades before so any help would be greatly appreciated!
doone Posted January 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2006 Check these two web sites out before bidding on priceline: http://www.biddingfortravel.com, http://www.betterbidding.com a wealth of information. I haven't seen the Marriott, or any downtown Ft. Lauderdale hotel awarded on priceline in some time. The Marriott is in the middle of being sold. I have, in the past, been awarded the Marriott Hotel and Marina by bidding 3* downtown Ft. Lauderdale. If you really want this hotel, you may be better off to just book it yourself to be sure your not disappointed. Good luck and hope this helps. ilovethesun Posted January 27, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted January 27, 2006 Thanks! I suppose I'm not really that picky, just want a place to stay for a decent price. What would your suggestions be for something not downtown?
Bequia Posted January 27, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2006 Do not bid anything less then 4* anywhere in Ft Lauderdale or Miami. Other then downtown try the beach area.;)
