Dropping a car off at Galveston Enterprise

Is there a shuttle from the car rental place to the port?

 

If not, is it easy to drop off passengers and luggage at the port, and then have my husband go drop the car off and take an uber over (or is it walking distance)?

From our experience, if you are dropping off on a Sunday, expect it to be crowded and slow.

I just kept the car for the week. Galveston has reasonable parking rates. After the cruise, hop in the car and go. The one day rental and drop charge in Galveston is almost as much as keeping the car For a week and bringing it back.
