Things are remarkably quiet in the Atlantic and Pacific. But NOAA updated their outlook and said that the El Niño that suppressed storms has moved off and things will get business now.

*Updated* 2019 Atlantic #HurricaneSeason Outlook now calls for: 10-17 named storms of which 5-9 could become hurricanes, including 2-4 major hurricanes. News release + infographics at https://t.co/J7TXP6XJqU#HurricaneOutlookpic.twitter.com/utwvaSe3kw

  • 2 weeks later...

One curious low pressure off the coast of NC not likely to bother anyone.

Getting a bit hotter in the Pacific off the Mexico coast but all heading away from land.  Fairly far out from Hawaii to be any concern so far.
