Are there any hotels in Galveston that offered COVERED PARKING for the duration of the cruise? I found quite a few that offer free parking with a one-night stay at hotel, but haven't come across any that seem to be covered.

Thank you

Moody Gardens Hotel has a multi-level covered parking garage attached to the hotel. Shearn’s Restaurant on the top floor of the hotel is a very nice venue for dinner or cocktails at sunset.

The OP initially asked about covered parking. Inn at the Waterpark does have limited covered parking under some of the guestrooms. However. the parking is at grade level and will flood as easily as their open, surface lot during torrential rains. I agree, it is not an elevated parking garage.

There are also several properties along the Seawall with limited covered parking beneath the guestrooms (LaQuinta, Best Western, etc.), but those parking spaces are at a lower elevation than the Seawall and are subject to flooding during torrential rain events.

Generally No property hotel on "seawall" on a raised portion will flood for most properties behind it were raised up to 17 to 20 feet after 1900 Great Storm . If property not raised behind seawall it may flood !
