okayokayokay Posted August 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2019 We bring magnetic hooks and clasps on ocean cruises to help us organize stuff and dry clothes. Are the walls of river cruise ships magnetic too? AMA Waterways specifically? I kinda assume that they are - it's a ship after all - but I know that some of you experienced river cruisers have the answer..
Beckybuu Posted August 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2019 I was wondering about that too. Commenting so maybe someone will see the question again. Becky
wanderingoz Posted August 24, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2019 There has been some discussion about this previously. Seems some are and some aren't. https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2137518-are-the-walls-magnetic/
Rare 1of4 Posted August 24, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2019 I can say that Scenic cabins are NOT, at least not in the sun lounge where I planned to use my magnetic hook. They may be under the wall coverings but you would need a strong magnet to hold through the layers and perform as expected.
