This seems like a great deal...

We did this last May (2019) and spent 4 days in a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and really enjoyed the stay. We didn't get such a good deal on the cruise because we really like the NS. The cruise was fun, but because we're used to over 7 days on our cruises, it seemed a little short and we couldn't really get into the swing of things on the ship and then it was time to disembark. The weather also got cold and windy and sometimes rainy during the last 2-3 days at sea.

A lot of people aboard seemed to know each other because they were on a 21-day or so cruise from Australia.

We traveled from California, so the flight home was not too long; the flight to HI was about 5 hours, I think.
