rental car, port of Tampa

Can anyone tell me if there are any car rental agencies with a dropoff point near the port? We would like to rent a car at the airport day before our cruise and drop it off at or near the port the following day.

We are renting with Alamo and they have a free shuttle to the port.

Do you mean if we rent from the airport, we then return to the airport and they then shuttle you to the cruise port? How long does it take from airport to cruise port?

I believe Alamo will shuttle you from the airport pickup/dropoff office to the port if you rent a car with them. You can call them to verify. I have seen the Alamo/National van at the port on cruise day though.

 

About 15-20 minutes from the port to the airport depending on day of week and time of day.
