IGUAZU - Pre-Cruise NCL

(I am also posting this on the South American NCL Board.)

Our question is: Does the Sheraton BA hotel let you leave the majority of your luggage at the hotel while you visit the falls?

And, if so: When you return to BA (Day 4 Transfer to Iquazu Airport for the flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival back into Buenos Aires you will be taken to the pier for embarkation.) do you stop at the hotel and pick-up your luggage or does NCL automatically transfer it to the ship.

Thanks for any help!

Pre-Cruise package itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN BUENOS AIRES

After settling in at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center, enjoy an afternoon city tour. See La Boca, the old port area with artists’ studios and galleries. Stroll through beautiful La Recoleta, the final resting place for patriots, presidents and poets, including Eva Perón (Evita). Visit Plaza the Mayo and see the Casa Rosada (Pink House), the office of the Argentine president. Evening at leisure.

Day 2: BUENOS AIRES

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At the NCL Hospitality Desk, you will have a selection of optional tours, including a Gaucho Fiesta at Santa Susana or a half- or full-day tour of Tigre, a popular suburb known for its recreational areas, where you board a boat for a scenic cruise through the Parana River. Or spend the day shopping, or just relaxing at a sidewalk café and mingling with the vivacious Porteños. Complete your day with the included evening experience “Dinner and Tango Show”. Our NCL representative will advise tour departure time from hotel.

Day 3: IGUAZÚ

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Airport for a 1½-hour flight to Iguazú. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Hotel Sheraton International in Iguazú for hotel check-in. This is the only hotel in the area facing the falls. Then, enjoy a guided walking tour on the Argentine side of the falls. There are catwalks and observatories to enjoy the magnificent falls, culminating at Devil’s Throat, where the Iguazu River crashes down forming many rainbows. Enjoy your included dinner and the evening is at leisure.

Day 4: IGUAZÚ & CRUISE

After a tropical buffet breakfast and check out, you’ll visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu falls (a Brazilian Visa is required). Transfer to Iquazu Airport for the flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival back into Buenos Aires you will be taken to the pier for embarkation.
