Which draught beers ?

Hi all,

     Silhouette sailors, does anyone know which draft beers are available on board? Specifically non Heinekin. Looking for Newcastle brown ale.  Thanks in advance.

Newcastle Brown is only ever served in bottles. Never as a draught.

The only other beer I have seen on tap on Celebrity is Amstel, but they are owned by Heinekin.

I thought that one of the Celebrity ships were trying a brew pub. Maybe that is where you saw it. I drink beer at home, but wine on cruises. Less time spent in the loo.

I have to correct my previous posting. Newcastle Brown is available on draught. Currently on the Star Princess which has it on tap. I happened to be next to a man from Newcastle who told me that apart from cruise ships he'd only ever seen it on tap in a few Newcastle pubs.

Both Equinox and Reflection had Newcastle on tap.

We can only hope!

 

Issue for all cruise lines is 'Will passengers buy the draft beers in sufficient quantity to keep the beer fresh?"  Was on Carnival last year and enjoyed a Carnival brand draft beer (actually had a few) and it was a great draft beer!!!  Not quite ready to sail a cruise line for the beer choices. 😀

Little off topic, but there is the Gastropub on some ships that have a pretty decent beer selection as cruise lines go. Ha, and also just noticed that OP is from Aug of last year 😂
