DREAM drinks menu..pink gin ?

Hi,

 

Anyone know if pink gin is available on Dream. Sailing on 3rd September 2019. Wasn`t available on Discovery 2 in July but as it`s so popular in UK now hoping Marella would `get some in` .

Been on the Dream twice this year and not a gin drinking but gins listed on drinks menu are Gordons,Beefeater London Dry and New Amsterdam.Might be the case  that pink gin is available on the Premium Drinks Package

Just back from Discovery Two. No pink gin, even on the Premium Package.

Not the same, however, add a splash of Chambourd -  Also good to add to the cheap champagne/prosecco 🙂

Thanks - not tried Chambord with gin before, will give it a try.

Some bars on D2 happy to put some angostura bitters  in the gin🤞,  they have it at the bars on Dream

Gin with angostura bitters is the traditional pink gin. The latest pink gins are basically just gin with fruit juice added, I presume to mask the favour of the gin, IMO a fashion thing. How about taking some of those squirty concentrated fruit juice things with you and giving your drink a squirt!

I’m also on the Dream in 3 weeks and the only drink I am worried about, is the white wine. Some reviews say that the wine in the normal AI isn’t that good so I am wondering about upgrading but wonder if you can just buy a glass of better wine for dinner  instead of the full upgrade.

The drinks package is not so comprehensive on the older ships if you like your wine an ungraded is recommended. You will have our favourite duo for your entertainment enjoy 😊

Thanks Pensioncruiser. Really looking forward to our cruise and stay. We last cruised 2 years ago on The Spirit and to be fair the white and rose wine were both ok. Different ship I know but I live in hope 😀

Don't know if he is still onboard but ask to Yodi in the MDR we have known him for many years and he's good. That may not be the correct spelling.

I love Marella cruises , but the one thing we have found ( or not as it happens  ! ) is the distinct lack of drinks menus 

 

We solved it by asking for cocktail of the day lol

Never was a problem until passengers started taking them home and of course the AI on all ships😏

Why are they taking the menus home? Take a photo with your phone, works for me.
