Hi All,

Looking for help on what I will spend on my cruise. My GF & I will be aboard the Elation on 8/8/04.

Drinks: We are above average drinkers

Tips (besides the prepayed)

Excurtions: We have both been to all of the ports of call with the exeption of Progresso. We will most likely just hang out at the nearest beach & drink.

Misc:

This wiil be our first cruise and not looking forward to any suprises icon_wink.gif Any help would be great since we are on a limited budget.

Thanks,

Red

Just off the Elation this past Sunday.

You'll pay $70 per person for tips, additional tips are at your discretion.

Pictures are $20 each - buy as many or as little as you like.

Alcohol - you can do the "drink of the day" for about $3 each - otherwise plan on $6-7 per drink. If you buy a soda card it's approximately $45 for an adult card.

If you don't plan to do excursions, you can get off pretty cheap - unless (like me) you spend all your money shopping!

The other area you might spend money is in the casino or playing bingo, we aren't huge gamblers but still managed to drop over $100 in the casino!

Wow, you folks are big spenders. I must be a tight-wad or something (only I didn't know it)...my S&S accounts with 3 people on them, tips and excursions, booze, etc, rarely exceeds 400 or 500 bucks for the cruise (whether it is 5 days, 7 days, or 11 days). icon_smile.gif

Hmmm.....maybe I need to belly up to the bar more.... icon_biggrin.gif
