Daniel A Posted September 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) I've read that Ecstasy is due for drydock October 6 to 16. Having been to Freeport Bahamas, I've seen carnival ships in drydock there. I have a few questions about this drydock. 1. Is the info about planned drydock dates for Ecstasy accurate? 2. Is the drydock planned for Freeport? 3. Is Freeport able to handle ships for drydock after Dorian? Thank you. VolzCruiser Posted September 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Those are all good questions. I read the below link yesterday may shed some light on things for drydocks https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/21495-cruise-lines-could-face-major-drydock-challenge-following-hurricane-damage.html

yankeenurse Posted September 11, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Good information but it doesn't really answer the question. Do we know if The Ecstasy will dry dock as planned?
maryland Posted September 13, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2019 I read an article today and it stated this: "The shipyard has also announced the scheduled arrival of Carnival Ecstasy on October 5 is on track. The Carnival cruise ships will begin a dry dock upgrade for the Miami-based cruise line which should be completed by October 16."
