Darwal Posted September 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Trying to decide between 4J interior with window on deck 10 or 6M deluxe ocean view on deck 1. 2 people and price is basically identical. Looking for what others may choose in this situation, suggestion?
smurfm69 Posted September 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2019 We have never stayed in a 6M or any ocean view cabin on a cruise. Given the choice, I would choose 4J especially since it is on the lido deck. We have had 4J cabins on multiple cruises on different decks and love having the large open deck just steps away from the door.
lab_love123 Posted September 12, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2019 I like the ocean view cabins, and I don't mind being on deck 1; being near the Lido deck isn't really important to me. If it's a factor for you, then definitely choose the 4J. The deck outside the 4Js is a nice feature too.
lucy2mb Posted September 12, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2019 We stayed in a 4J once and liked it a lot. The one we had was a much larger room than an ocean view. I also prefer being on the Lido, so I would choose 4J because of that. But if you like to look out your window a lot at the ocean and don't mind being on the first deck, then choose the Oceanview room.
CheckersMidwest Posted September 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2019 I have stayed in both and would choose the 4J hands down. I don't like being on deck 1 (or 2 or 3.....) . I like the light the bigger window lets in, the added space, and location .
