Going on first cruise - will everyone have thier own sign and sail card. We are traveling with kids 17, 15, and 8. Will be using cash for our depostis for cards, will each person have to have cash on card???

Everyone will have a folio, and card. They will need money on there to cover their tips ($10pp/pd)... but if they are kids, they may not require the full deposit... you may be able to just put down the money for tips and freeze the account.

Everyone should be able to be tied in to the same "account" Everyone will have their own sail and sign card but they can all be pulled from the same account. At least that is the way we have always done it. We have never had to put up the full cash deposit for each person. I'd call Carnival and ask though, last time we sailed was in April and something could have changed.

FYI, they can get tokens in the arcade with their card. There is a daily limit, I think it was $25.

If you want, you can turn off the spending option on your kid's cards.

Several people have mentioned paying a cash deposit for the Sail and Sign account. Approximately how much is the deposit? Is this a better way to go than linking it to my debit card?

if i remember correctly, i used a debit card
