Appy1 Posted September 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2019 We are leaving canaries for ft lauderdale second week of November, has anyone sailed this route that can advise weather and temps. Hard to know what to pack.
ealdridge Posted September 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2019 We'll be on the same voyage. My research indicates we need to prepare for mid 50s to mid 60s in temps. Warmer temps as we leave the eastern Med. Let us know if anyone else responds. We've done the voyage west to east in the spring which is much different. taglovestocruise Posted September 15, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2019 (edited) Have done 3 westbound in Nov. First day or so it is cool, Canary Islands mid 70's to 80. After Canary Islands it gets warmer every day. Shorts and T'S everyday, mid 60's at night. Knock on wood we have always had great weather. Plus the 5 or 6 twenty five hours days are a bonus. happy cruising Edited September 15, 2019 by taglovestocruise

It gets progressively warmer the closer you get to your destination. We love the extra hour of sleep nearly every night of the crossing, and so do the crew! We're planning another for 2020, and even if the weather isn't great (our luck has to run out some time!), we're on a cruise, it's not a problem! Smooth Sailing! 🙂🙂🙂
