depends on the terms of your current booking. If it is refundable, you can cancel and re-book. Check with MSC or your TA

Follow up in case anyone else is trying to get savings. My TA had to cancel and re-book and saved about 10% As an added bonus, my TA was able to also secure a balcony in what we think is a better location, very near mid-ship.
