wibeachbum Posted January 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2006 We are in a mini suite on the Jewel. How many chairs are on the balcony? Is there a lounge chair? A small table? Thanks!

Cosmopolitan Posted February 1, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2006 We are in a mini suite on the Jewel. How many chairs are on the balcony? Is there a lounge chair? A small table? Thanks! Not sure it this will help. We were in an AA. Fwd deck had 2 lounge chairs and a table. Side deck had 2 chairs w/hassock-like extension and table. Which is what the other side decks had. I assume that is what is on all balcony decks. Very comfortable:)
Big Al B. Posted February 1, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2006 On our mini-suite on the Dawn there were 2 chaise lounges and small table. Don't know if that helps or not.

You were lucky - never saw a chaise in any mini suites.:) Two chairs with backs that recline and a Small table. From NCL's photo library.
Big Al B. Posted February 1, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Shoreguy, I think you're right. I guess I remembered the reclining and high back part and it stuck in my little pea brain as a chaise :p.

Just put your feet on the table, listen to the sea, and it just the same:)
CruisinMatt Posted February 1, 2006 #10 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Not to go off topic, but why are so many cruise lines putting such gaudy carpet in the cabins??

CruisinMatt Posted February 1, 2006 #13 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Maybe they get a deal on it - nobody else would want it  :D Well I mean it's almost a shame! That minisuite looks beautiful until you get a glimpse of that carpet! :p They threw the beachbag into the picture to tyr to tie the awful carpet into the room. Talk about a designer trick! Big Al B. Posted February 1, 2006 #14 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Maybe it's designed to force you to travel outside the confines of your cabin to places like the shops and casino :). Or perhaps it camoflages various spills and spots.

I think the intent is to brighten the space. Same style of carpet they use for hallways and inside rooms. Funny thing is I don't even notice it after the intial blast.
