Arcadia returns to Halifax

The Arcadia, which departed Halifax, Nova Scotia on the evening of Monday the 23rd has returned to the port on the 24th around 5:00 p.m., almost 24 hours after it left. It is not listed on the port schedule.  There were three ships at the usual cruise berths, so the Arcadia was heading into one of the container terminals.  The attached photo is not very clear because it was a photo of the Pier 21 Webcam. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Aurora did the same on 23rd at 18:30pm. She was there for only 30 minutes then left. Perhaps she picked up passenger left by Arcadia.

The ship in the photo is not Arcadia. It is Aurora.

The timings look to me to be a Medi Vac.

Sorry, my mistake. I should have noticed the tiered stern decks for one thing. The Aurora was last in Halifax on the 12th of Sept.

I saw on another forum, from a passenger on board, that Aurora diverted to Halifax for a medical evacuation.

We have just come off Aurora.  We returned to Halifax, I think it was on September 26th,  to drop of a seriously ill passenger and the Captain told us at the end of the cruise that the passenger had had a successful operation and was well on the way to complete recovery.

Yes, Annie. We were really pleased that the Captain could update us as to the paasenger's condition. We saw quite a few ambulances meet the ship during the cruise.
