Tender to Grand Cayman

GC is a very short tender ride so they do get everyone off pretty quickly.  We've been twice.  Once with an excursion and once without and there was very little difference.  Also, they use actual tenders that hold more people than the lifeboats do so it does move pretty quickly.  Also, if they do numbers (not always on all ships for all tender ports) get there early and get a ticket if you want to get off early.

Several factors impact speed of tendering process.  First of course is size of your ship and number of passengers looking to disembark.  Number of other cruise ships in harbor is also a factor.  Being the 9th ship out greatly lengthens your tender runs.  Have also seen weather have a big impact at Grand Cayman.  When wind kicks up and seas get choppy it is difficult for tenders to operate.
