Many of the top-tier Casino buffets (Bellagio, Wynn, etc), it costs $30 (lunch) / $40 (dinner) on a weekday and $50+ on a weekend per person. That's pre-tax. Lunch alone will cost you close to $500 for the week. Throw in a a dinner or two and you almost have the price of a cheap cruise. That reinforces my earlier point that comparisons are futile unless you have a true apple-for-apple scenario. That's also where "ranking" the various buffets to sort that out is a must. For example...comparing the "free" Windjammer on a Royal Cruise ship to the Bellagio buffet is totally a farce. Thanks for pointing out your key comparison factors above.
