We are enjoying Carolyn's reports very much. She writes so well. We are going on the Diamond Princess from Auckland to Sydney next week (13th Feb). Although she is on the Statendam her reports are very helpful for anyone travelling in NZ or Australia. We even cancelled our shore excursion in Dunedin to re-book the same one she took.

Can't wait 'til she gets to Melbourne, the city we grew up in ,to find out what she has to say.

Thank you so much for the very imformative travel log, we just booked for 2008, 2/16. You saved me time on research...we are flying in early 4 days to enjoy Aust. and staying 4 days to enjoy New Zeland. We have sailed Statendam & Maasdam and loved both ships. We're doing a B2B on Mercury next February from Sydney to Auckland then Auckland to Honolulu - a dream trip! I've reread your review several times and used it to assist us in deciding what to do (we've been down under before so don't want to repeat what we've already done too much).
