I also would offer to connect them to your husbands' specialist, just so they can double check all would be well. I called special needs and they checked and said the ship cannot do it. Maybe because it is a five day cruise ( we are supposed to be doing 2X’s 5days)

Hubby much prefered the Xarelto to the Warfarin. After learning that the reversal agents were far and few, I opted for Warfarin

We had no choice and have to use the warfarin.
summersigh Posted October 25, 2019 #29 Share Posted October 25, 2019 Do of those "Doc in a box" kind of clinics do the INR tests ? Seems that in FLA they might as there are so many retirees down there. My DH's Dr office uses a hand held gadget that only takes a finger stick and one drop of blood. The results show on the screen in less than a minute. I wonder if you could rent one of those for a couple of weeks from a medical supply company. summersigh Posted October 25, 2019 #30 Share Posted October 25, 2019 MD NOW Urgent Care has Rapid INR Testing 3 locations in the Ft Lauderdale area ... I'd check the link and call the clinic of your choice to be sure https://www.mymdnow.com/locations/broward-county-urgent-care/ I would assume that if this place does it there are others as well. I googled walk in clinic in ft lauderdale fl then checked websites for INR Test
