Post Hotel after TP?

OK..I searched this tread but it is HUGE and didn't find anything regarding best places to stay post TP cruise...any ideas? Looking for 3 nights in an OWB... (remember you only live twice!) LuAnn

there's lots of info on the ports of call board for pacific islands. most people return to moorea.

Princess offers a package at the Intercontinental but it is in Papeete. not the one is Morrea...difference? Thanks LuAnn

See my review dated 5/05 for more details, but I cannot rave enough about the OWB we had at the Intercontinental in Moorea. We far preferred this island to Tahiti...much more idillic, picturesque, relaxed.

 

I booked through Travelocity, and got an excellent rate. The best part was that we were able to drop off our luggage the day we were in port there, that they held for us and then they let us use a transit room before we returned home. The hotel was gorgeous and we loved every minute there. I wish we were going back this year, but may have to wait another year or so..........

I met Moorea, Moorea is a friend of mine......Papeete, you are not Moorea.........:) (to paraphrase LLoyd Benston).

 

I would highly recommend Moorea over Papeete, better scenery, hotels and water.
