acritic Posted October 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2019 how can you tell if oceania has dropped the price of a cruise you have booked?
Issyalex Posted October 24, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2019 Just keep looking at their prices. Our cabin on our 1st April cruise has been reduced twice and I’ve phoned my TA to match the price drop.
Rare pinotlover Posted October 24, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2019 Look at your contract for your pricing then check that against the new listed price. Keep in mind all the extras involved in the offering. FWIW, I have a great TA. If such a question arises for us, I merely send her a quick email and she responds within a couple of days with a detailed answer. I have a TA and no how to use her! Much more accurate than public forums!
DeeniEncinitas Posted October 24, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2019 I always am checking for price drops. For both of our upcoming cruises on a TA and The Med had dropped over 1,000.00 a cruise for us! Our Oceania consultant emailed to inform us of the drop before I called him👍 Denise😊
TOLISTravellers Posted October 24, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2019 Also, take a screen shot of whatever less costly you deal you see--we had one cruise that had dropped, and the same amenities were showing on the Oceania site. Our TA advised that it had different amenities--we quickly went back to the Oceania site, took a screen shot, and they adjusted the price to less and kept the amenities. Shortly after, the amenities changed online, so I think we got lucky. But now we take screen shots just in case.
