Alcohol on Serenade

Just got back from our Jan 21st trip. All this worrying about bringing alcohol? Don't sweat it. We packed 1.75's of vodka and bottles of wine. No one checked or seemed to care. Friends of ours even bought it in the ports and carried right on to there room too. Don't think any of these alcohol rules are inforced at all.

Did you have the Vodka and wine in your checked baggage?

 

Did they not even hand-check bags when you re-entered the ship from the ports? I would really like to pick up some Chambord and other goodies while in port.

they x rayed everything going back on the ship. we had bottles sticking out and no one said anything. we put them in our checked baggage and filled water bottles up and held them as we walked on.
