We went 1/14-1/21, our group of 9 had a blast. We enjoyed dinner in all the locations except The Terraces (but as you'll notice each person has their own opinion). At The Terraces we received cold food, and bad service (luck of the draw, I guess). I didn't get into the pool, but a couple that went with us went into the wet bar and they enjoyed it (according to them the water was warm). Only made it to a comedy show the first night (not too bad), and the Not-so-Newlywed game... so funny! Of course the poolside events were fun (10-15 minutes long), they had Mr. Muscular legs, Mr. Hairy chest, Mr. Carmen Miranda, and ice spultures. The Chocholatic buffet was nice to see (and taste), but I went at about 12-12:15 (on the schedule it starts at llp.m., and ends at midnite with photo opportunities at 10:30), but the line was long and I'd rather be dancing than waiting in line.

The boat does rock a bit compared to larger size boats, but the service is the best I've had so far. We received casino credit (toward our bill) of $140 (for myself), and $400 (for my husband). The workers get to know you and each day will provide for credit depending on how long you remain at the casino. We did not got to the sports bar for breakfast (since we stayed up late either playing in the casino or if not dancing), so we put out the in-room breakfast order (due by 4 a.m. each day) to have room service deliver our breakfast. (You can order instead of a cup of coffee, a pot, but make sure and write it in the slip).

We had great weather in each stop. Cozumel (we hired a private taxi and pointed out the things we wanted to do on the island... they show you a points of interest list). We had a tour the entire island, went to the ruins, went to the beach and had lunch, then he took us shopping, and we walked back to take the tender back (3 blocks away). In Roatan we did the Gumbalimba park w/ lobster lunch (via NCL), and played with Monkeys and Parrots. In Belieze we did the Old River and Altun Ha Ruins (via NCL), and had a great and thorough tour guide (named Samoan), we saw plenty of animals and were able to walk up the ruins for some great photo opportunities.

As I've mentioned before I do have the freestyle dailies, but do not have a scanner, and can't seem to figure out how to post them online. Any general question, I'll be more than happy to answer them.

We had a balcony suite, a bit small, but it did have a dividing curtain between the sleep area and sitting area (Sofa bed). The bathrooms are tiny, but had lots of storage areas. There was a safe, and a fridge located underneath the t.v. (although it appears like a drawer).

We did use the clothes pins for the curtain covering the balcony window; as well as, to dry off clothes in the bathroom, and I took extra plastic hangers (since there was three of us in the room), although there was a lot of hangers (since I like all my clothes hanged). I also took an over the door shoe hanger since it made it easy to find my shoes, and also to make small things in the room more organized (and easy to find). Finally I took an extension cord to charge our two cell phones during the trip, my mother-in-law's hairdryer, and curling iron.

We didn't have any children in our group, so I can't tell you anything about the kid's club. We did see children w/ painted faces (characters), and in the evenings I saw them playing (since kid's club is located nearby a restaurant, but you can't hear them).

Hope this helps.

I will be going on the Dream at the end of this month, with my 5 yr old. Has anyone been on this boat? Likes, dislikes?

Are the pools heated?Hot tubs? Are the pools open late?

Hi mmeb I had a fantastic time - here is the link to my review. Learned a lot from this board - you are in the right place!
