Is Mercury going to be redone?

We just booked the Christmas & New Year Cruise on the Mercury for 2006. Our TA said the Mercury was going to be redone putting veranda rooms on it. Has anyone else heard this?

Celebrity is redoing the Century with veranda's etc this year. There were many rumors over the years about what was going to be done with the ships. There has been no official announcement from Celebrity on any changes to the Mercury or the Galaxy. Anything your TA would say about the Mercury at this point is rumor or speculation with nothing solid behind it.

We just got off Mercury and the rumor there was late '07.

How about cosmetic touch-ups and replacing soft goods? We just booked for early December. Any chance those are ongoing?

I called celebrity awhile ago and they said that it was going to renovated spring of 2007
