Tender Details on the HAL Ships, Especially Vista and Signature Class

Not only can they deem it’s unsafe to operate the ship’s tenders, they can also deem the port tenders to be unsafe.

 

When we were in St. Malo, the port operated it’s own tenders.  Our captain deemed them not satisfactory and turned them back and told the port he would use his own.

 

We were late but he launched the Prinsendam’s tenders rather than use the port’s.  It was all good and we enjoyed Mont St. Michel.
