Drinks for your cabin on the Discovery

We like to have a drink on the balcony at night.  Can you take drinks from the bar back to your cabin?  I know you can't bring alcohol on board or I would just do that but I don't want to be paying mini bar prices either.

 

First time cruisers BTW.

I don't think anyone would even notice if you went to your cabin with a drink. We have done it.  People do wander about  with their drinks. Enjoy.

No problems in bringing drinks onboard but only for consumption in your cabin also you can take a drink back to your cabin anytime your cabin steward will provide ice. 🍻

So if I bought a bottle of wine in port they would allow me to bring it onboard?  I was under the impression that was a nono on cruise ships?

Yes you are allowed on Marella to do that, don't forget the corkscrew 👍

No problem bringing a couple of bottles of wine on board to drink in your cabin.
