Dan83 Posted January 9, 2020 #27 Share Posted January 9, 2020 My sailing on the 21st is still a go. I have unwittingly booked a first sailing after dry dock. Anything I should be aware of? I’m within driving range so flight changes aren’t an issue. I just don’t want to be canceled last minute if they extend the dry dock again. Jam0610 Posted January 9, 2020 #29 Share Posted January 9, 2020 We were on the Liberty in November. I booked for April 4, 2021. They stay on schedule my cruise should be good. Looking forward to see what changes to the ship, are made.
cruzinisgood Posted January 10, 2020 #30 Share Posted January 10, 2020 So we were on the feb 21st cruise that was cancelled. I was looking to rebook April 18th on the LOS or the Jewel of the Seas Mar 14th but I can't find that one even existing. Has anyone else found it or having the same issue
Denverdonkeys Posted January 10, 2020 #31 Share Posted January 10, 2020 I called about the JOS yesterday and they said it as not available for a few more days. I suspect the 3/14 JOS will be quite popular with the 3/14 LOS passengers. although from my review of the ship, I am not sure the JOS is as good. Smallest we have been on was the AOS. I don't have a issue the size as a relative is. Though leaning towards staying with the Liberty.

Denverdonkeys Posted January 10, 2020 #36 Share Posted January 10, 2020 This was going to be our first RCCL cruise actually. We have 3 young boys and the JOS just didn't seem to offer the same amenities/entertainment options. I am not even sure if we could get a comparable room. We are leaning towards going later in the summer on the same itinerary. Would love to keep a spring break trip though.

cruzinisgood Posted January 11, 2020 #40 Share Posted January 11, 2020 Are people calling Royal Caribbean or their TA for help? Called our TA this am and said they would call back. Haven't heard back. Frustrating as I want to get this done.

cruzinisgood Posted January 11, 2020 #44 Share Posted January 11, 2020 Pretty much all the above. Just finished with the TA. We have a lot of sailing choices as stated by a poster above. But our price was safe as was our perks we had. For us that was huge as we had $800 OBC and prepaid gratuities. This change just added another $400 as we are GS. We had not booked any flights or hotel stays as to far in advance.
Dan83 Posted January 17, 2020 #45 Share Posted January 17, 2020 The sailing on March 21 is now not listed again. They may end up canceling that one also? I won’t be heartbroken as long as they offer up a summertime sailing.
