Does a 3-night NOTS have a formal night?

Never been on 3-nighter before. All others cruises had formal nights. Does a 3-nighter also have a formal night?

Royal says it does on Day 2 but i have see people say they didnt have one on three day cruises

 

There can be 1-3 formal nights during a sailing and is at the ship’s discretion. 

• 3/4/5 night cruises - usually on Day 2
• 6 night cruises - usually on day 2 and 5
• 7 night cruises - are usually on Day 2 and 6
• Oasis and Allure use Day 2 and 5 on Western itineraries and Day 2 and 6 on Eastern itineraries.
• 14-night and longer cruises will have three formal nights.

Navigator has been reported to have one formal night on both 3 and 4 night cruises.

On Navigator it is now called "Dress your Best".  So you will see everything.  Very few dress really formal, but you will see cocktail dresses and slacks/shirts with tie.  I wear a nice halter dress and husband wears the same as other nights-silk slacks with a silk Tommy Bahama shirt
