Anyone stayed at The Pelican Beach Resort lately ?

Can anyone who has stayed at the Pelican Beach Resort in FLL lately, please give me an idea as to the cost of the Breakfasts and rest. prices.

Are they worth staying in the Hotel for or should we venture out for all of our meals. Is there any place near that you would recommend.

I have read so many good reports about the Hotel itself but no info what so ever on the food etc.

TIA

somewhere.....i believe here......there is a very extensive review by me. we were there last july (we're going back this july). the hotel is awesome. we ate most meals in the hotel restaurant. the food was great, very varied menu and the prices were just right. you can eat inside or out. the hotel is great and you'll love it.

Stayed at the Pelican Beach Resort in December, we thought the food to be OK but pricey, especially the breakfasts.

You can also have things from the Ice Cream bar for breakfast and take them up to your room this is a much cheaper option if you have kids etc.

Hotel excellant but be aware of the receptionists they are very unfriendly.

We have written to the hotel owners but not had reply. Other staff were good.

Overall the hotel is fab and I am sure you will enjoy it.

You can also eat outside as we did on some days at the food court in the Mall, you can get a bus from right outside the hotel and it only costs a dollar.
