Can anyone tell me if things (flags, wipeoff boards, etc.) be hung on the outsides of our cabin doors on the Getaway?

I did see a few things hanging on the outside of the doors.  I think the issues are not to damage the doors.  Some folks left messages, others asked for comments.  On the messages situation, NCL had a neat relatively inexpensive way to keep in contact with your cabin mates.  You use their on-board phone and texting service with your phone.  I think it was $9.99 per person for the entire week.  That ship is big, i used it several times.  Hope all that makes sense.
