KeywestK Posted January 6, 2020 #26 Share Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) There are so few opportunities to see the ocean on Oasis-class ships. For me, it must be an ocean view balcony. That said if the choice were between a standard inside cabin or the CP balcony cabin, the CP cabin would win out. I have one for Symphony of the Seas in late April so I have the view but just not the balcony. if I wanted a balcony, I would do Boardwalk and I have done on Allure. We spent two weeks in one of those on Symphony. It was nice for the price

After doing one CP balcony on Oasis in the Med. for an insane price savings, I would agree with your first sentences. There is virtually nowhere to see the ocean on Oasis class except deck 16, the solarium, and the boardwalk, so I wouldn't do below an OV balcony on those ships again. I just factor it into the cost at this point.

It was nice for the price I can't wait as I am on Apr 24 sailing. I was booked for B2B but I moved my deposit to a trip on Odyssey out of Rome in July 2021. I got one of those coveted solo balconies. BTW your dog is cute and I enjoy and appreciate your comments on here cc. You are lucky to live in Fla and can watch ships leaving port. Me well I use PTZ juggling between all 3 ports each Sat and Sun. Toodles
