Dat Cruisin Couple Posted January 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2020 First time Carnival cruisers. I was looking at the debarkation time for our August 2-9, 2020 cruise(Bermuda). It is telling me that debarkation is at 10 AM. We are an extended family with some flying out and others driving home. 1) Are we really getting off at 10 AM? 2) What would be a safe flight time? The folks driving will be doing the Best Western Elkridge, so park and ride. Thanks
JaxsMama Posted January 5, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2020 I'd like to piggyback off this post. Also wondering with a 10am debark what time do you have to be out of your cabin?
fred549 Posted January 5, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2020 Hello, We were on Pride last year. We were not in a hurry to get off the ship. So we were about the last to get off. It was 11:30. If you figure from 11:30, 1/2 hour to BWI airport, 2 hours for security check in, then you should be good with a flight after 2 PM. If you carry off all of your luggage, that will also save some time in the port terminal. Enjoy your cruise.
idraconis Posted January 5, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2020 Just jumping in here. I believe The Pride arrives back to Baltimore at 10:00 A.M. So debarkation should start around 11:00. The ship could be early or late. I agree 2:00 P.M. is good.
Dat Cruisin Couple Posted January 5, 2020 Author #5 Share Posted January 5, 2020 Thank you. We are used to 6-7 AM debarkation and we will need to have the flights changed accordingly!
JMAE Posted January 6, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) Cruised on the Pride 10 times, your return can differ depending on the weather conditions. We have arrived early and late. Once the ship docks, debarking starts in about 45 minutes for self assist. Enjoy your cruise! Edited January 6, 2020 by JMAE
